Becky Acton has been at Appalachian for 5 years as the Assistant Director for Campus Activities and Fraternity & Sorority Life. Becky advises 33 nationally recognized organizations and the governing councils; Panhellenic Council, National PanHellenic Council, and Interfraternity Council.
Becky received her Bachelor's of Art at Central Michigan University with a major in History and double minor in English and Psychology. She remained at Central Michigan University and pursued her Master's in Educational Leadership in Student Affairs.
Becky loves the students she works with and the energy that leadership and involvement creates for the staff and students we are fortunate to work with each and every day. She loves the laughter, the impact that “A ha” moments have, and watching students develop as leaders and people. In her free time, Becky enjoys any crafting project, especially cardmaking, scrapbooking, knitting, etc. She loves to cook and is addicted to new recipes! She enjoys hiking and exploring with her family, and is a self-proclaimed "phenomenal singer" while in her car! Becky likes smiling and is obsessed with Stitch, Wizard of Oz, and purple pens.
