Conduct History - 2013

Conduct standings related to violations of the Appalachian State Organizational Code of Conduct (see https://orgsync.com/87895/files/1535159/show) by student organizations are listed below. This report is updated at least 45 days prior to the beginning of each fall and spring academic semester, and reflects standings for instances in which allegations of violations have been completely resolved.

Found responsible for violating the Welcome Weekend Memo and the FSL Social Policy by the FSL Conduct Board – Unregistered Event with alcohol and violation of University directive/policy. Result: Internal Judicial Process, dry tailgate, and educational program.

Found responsible for violation of the FSL Social Policy and the FSL Code of Conduct – providing false information on a university document to a University official, open party, not adhering to a guest list, and liquor present. Results: Risk Management workshop and community service. Must provide proof of completing sanctions or risk revocation of recognition.

Found responsible for violations of the FSL Code of Conduct – Noise complaint, trespassing, vandalism, and failure to provide appropriate transportation. Result: Social Restriction and service initiatives.

Self-sanctioned social restriction in response to hazing allegations from a parent. Result: Social Restriction and service initiatives.

Found in violation of the FSL Social Policy and Motor Pool Policies on bus usage through Informal Resolution process with Advisory Team and National Office – alcohol on common carrier, liquor present, and pre-gaming. Result: Social Restriction and Educational Programming

*Non-Compliance is either due to failing to meet minimum standards during the semester or due to failing to meet academic minimum requirements of a 2.5 collective term grade point average as a continuous member class or a new member class. (2) is a probationary status with restriction. (3) is a potential suspension or revocation of recognition. Grade reports back to 2009 are posted on greeks.appstate.edu.
